Pre-Civil War home and 1940s dairy barn have a compelling history.

In October of 1987, my mother, Maria Suzanne McDonnell, bought the old farmhouse with 90+ acres of land.

This was the first project to be completed (as well as the paddock fencing) in order to move our horses to the farm, where Sue would drive to twice a day for 3 and a half years to feed them until we moved into the house in Jan 91. The dairy barn had stanchions in it that were removed and the concrete floor was jackhammered out. This was to prepare for the horse stalls that would replace them.
